The objective of this course is to introduce children to Indian art through one of the two great epic tales of sacred Hindu literature : the “Ramayana”.

Explain and demonstrate the technique of Kamishibaï. With the help of "butaï" (wooden theatre), the presentation of a few stories helps children understand what "kamishibaï" is. From the Japanese, kami : paper, and shibaï : theatre play.
