The mountains by Cézanne, the soft line of Matisse, the moustaches of Henri Rousseau, "Le Douanier" and Calder's little "Circus" have led me to study history of art. In parallel with this, several artistic projects are emerging in evening and summer academies, such as an installation of light boxes.
I then studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels in the illustration department.
"Old papers", old advertisements and other Epinal images became sources of inspiration for my drawings.
Words play an important role in the development of my stories. I love to explore their sound and poetry revealed by their association.
Besides my work in illustration, I organise art workshops for children.
