We visit the town, in search of items that will form the beginning of so many stories : a park, a place, the name of a street, a leaf...
We collect small things found on our way that will be used as clues and souvenirs thereafter. Children develop their views, their observations and then express what they want to tell.At the end of the course, children hold their books. Each is of course different and personal. It can be a travel book in their neighbourhood, the story of an invented hero, an imaginary herbarium, a book of characters encountered at the street corner... because through this idea of telling the story of my town, I'm also telling about myself.
