A literary stroll to enjoy with family and friends
The French Publishers Association, the Paris book fair ‘Livre Paris’ and Paris City Hall are, for the first time, offering an open-air event during Livre Paris. The weekend before Livre Paris, on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th March 2016 is Livre sur Seine: a unique open-air event comprising a literary stroll with family and friends, and is completely free. This event will offer a unique immersion into the world of books, in an open and popular setting. Livre sur Seine will take place on the left bank of the Berges de Seine, along 600 meters between the Orsay Museum and the National Assembly, four days before the official opening of the Porte de Versailles Show. Exhibitions, organised by young publishers, will be arranged according to different age ranges, from early childhood to adolescence. Paris City Hall will provide stalls hosting continuous entertainment: meetings with authors, storytelling, craft workshops...
