India in stories and pictures

From September 2013 to January 2014, pupils from a primary school in Schaerbeek had the opportunity to participate in a course on motion graphics."India in stories and pictures" is a course in motion graphics proposed around the book "Contes du vampire, contes de l'Inde" (Tales of Vampires, Tales of India). The vampire in the Indian sense, has nothing to do with our Dracula in Transylvania, but rather resembles a spirit or a genie, as found in the Eastern tales. Inspired by the collection published by Syros, pupils were asked to choose a story to illustrate collectively with several pictures. The style of graphics and the techniques used were inspired by visiting the exhibition "Ramayana" scheduled under Europalia India.
